Njord is an oil- and gas field located in the Norwegian Sea, offshore Mid Norway. E.ON Ruhrgas Norge AS own a 30% interest in the field.
The field currently produces approximately 30,000 bbl/oil gross, and all gas is re-injected to increase oil output. In 2007 Njord will start production of gas, and a new gas pipeline will be build connecting Njord to the Åsgard Transport pipeline. E.ON Ruhrgas share of the gas production will be approximately 0.6 BCM/year.
