The E.ON Ruhrgas Group is made up of several business segments:
E.ON Ruhrgas International AG is responsible for our interests in international companies and for expanding business abroad. Our last acquisitions were E.ON Földgaz Trade and E.ON Földgaz Storage in Hungary as well as a stake in E.ON Gaz Romania in Romania. In addition E.ON Ruhrgas International looks after our shareholdings in German gas transmission companies.
Thüga is a wholly-owned subsidiary of E.ON Ruhrgas and is mainly responsible for the national downstream business. All shareholdings in local utilities and gas companies in Germany are under its umbrella.
E.ON Gastransport has leased the gas transmission network of E.ON Ruhrgas and is responsible for its operation, supervision and marketing of the capacities.
E.ON Ruhrgas E&P is active in the upstream business and involved in gas production and the search for new gas deposits in the British and Norwegian North Sea.
