With our bio natural gas concept, we, as an energy company, want to make a contribution towards improving the environment and protecting the earth’s climate.
We are committed to the production of bio natural gas on an industrial scale. To achieve this, we have established E.ON Bioerdgas GmbH. It will build plants in which biomass can be treated to produce bio natural gas. This gas can then be fed into the gas grid and used in all applications. Bio natural gas provides us with another indigenous source of energy with which part of the decline in indigenous gas production can be replaced in the medium term.
